How to Print from a Chromebook

  1. Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your Chromebook
  2. On your Chromebook, navigate to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers
  3. Click Add Printer
  4. Select your printer from the list and click Add

If that doesn't work..

If the above method did not work for you, it's likely because your printer isn't supported. But there's good news! There are multiple ways to setup a printer to print from a Chromebook.

There are basically 3 methods for setting up a printer on a Chromebook: 1. Adding a printer via settings (the above method) 2. HP Print for Chrome (only works with HP printers) 3. Google Cloud Print.

The following setup wizard will walk you through the steps of setting up your printer if that first method didn't work for you:

  1. What about the HP print extension for USB printing to old non wireless or unable to use Google Cloud service printers ?

What will happen when the Playstore apps are available?
